I broke my laptop and our wifi has been having issues lately so this post is late. Sorry!
Being orthodox, my family doesn’t celebrate Christmas on the 25th ( but on January 7th). So we went to the only mall open, Pacific Mall. There wasn’t much to buy but it was a nice outting for a quiet day.
The mall had a cute decorated stage to take pics in front of but it was too dark so heres my home photo.
My brother’s friend was celebrating his birthday this weekend. Everyone was in town, so we went out for a good time. Starting off in a tapas styled restaurant called Spice Room, we were served plates upon plates of appetizers in a buffet style meal. There was even this one plate where you cooked your own meat slices on a hot rock!
After dinner, we had cake for the birthday boy, and went out to Brassrail club for the night. I wore a silky outfit that caught me a lot of compliments; mainly for the hat!
My uncle from Texas spent the night with us during his trip to Toronto for a business meeting. After one of my last exams we all went out for a bit.
Okay I lied. I’m going to make a post during my exams. I started yesterday and had another one today. Yep. That’s right. A Saturday exam! I feel cooped up and bored studying all the time so when I head to school, I still gotta dress up. I went for a bit of an 80’s grunge look, minus the shredded tights – its too cold for that!
I haven’t been to church in a while due to my work and school schedule eating me alive. With exams starting tomorrow, I caught a mid-week liturgy with my father.
Wearing one of my new wrap dresses, I looked elegant with such ease. I love wrap dresses. They’re a staple shape for the 50’s wild girl, and they’re so flattering. The ruching in the front of this one would hide anything.
Welcome and congratulations to the new Epsilon Class of Chi Sigma Xi sorority!
